I am planning a small shower room. I have a wall 1440 long, and I am looking to fit a 800 quadrant shower. This will leave a space of 640. Is this sufficent to fit a 550 basin? I cannot work out if the basin will impede the door (slides open within the quadrant) -

Has anyone done something similar?

As noted the doors will slide on the inside so you shouldn't have any problems. So long as there is enough space to physically fit and use the basin, and clean around it, then it is ok.

I have a similar set up in my WC/shower room although I opted for a smaller basin so I could get a towel ring in between the two.
