Hi all.

I have read lots of useful info but now need your practical advice.

I have just moved into another flat which has a Sime Super 90 combination boiler.

I have noticed that there is no pressure in the boiler as the needle on the guage is sat at zero. As you may expect, i cant find the instruction manual.

Underneath the boiler i can see the silver filling loop and at either side there are 2 blue 'knobs'. One in the valve from what looks like the cold water pipe going in and the other to the heating part.

I think there must be a way of opening these to fill the boiler. I have unscrewed both of them but nothing happened so i have tightened them both up again. What am i doing wrong guys???

thanks for the reply. I'm at work at the moment so will try later to get a photo. You will have to give me instructions as to how to upload.

I would have thought that just opening both these valves with the blue coloured knobs would have sent cold water from the one through to the other. Then doing them both up would have closed them off. As i said, opening them both does nothing.
