had this extractor for a few years - just recently both lights stopped working - fans ok

changed bulbs ofcourse - had a look at the switch no obvious tracks burned on pcb and lamp on/off button on switch is working

Have no idea what this could be - anybody had similar issue

It's headin for the skip if not !

TIA

Brian

God knows why there should ever be a PCB anywhere near the lights on a cooker hood.

All those lights ever needed, and ever will need, is a simple mechanical switch to turn them on and off.

If it were mine, then before skipping the whole hood I'd look to rewiring the lights to work off a simple mechanical switch.

ok - found the problem - damn bulb holders not connecting internally - must have been the contacts - what a pile of C**p

thanks for the reply btw

As an aid to anyone looking this up in the future, it's always worth looking at ES lampholders, especially those in cooker hoods subject to grease, steam and vibration, as the contacts may need adjusting to give a reliable connection.

This is after the lamona wine cooler packed in after 13 months

after the lamona washer dryer stopped drying after 12 months

and next - and probably not last as previously shown

faulty lamona cooker hood !

see a pattern here ?

ah well lesson learned
