getting fed up now as my car has been back and forth to garage, the problem i have got is when the car is stationary with the engine running therev needle bounces up and down not alot but a bit, and then when ever it feels like it , it will rev up without me touching the accelerater bben told it could be the idle valve but it went in the garage last friday and they repaired a wire and it worked fine now the problem has come back any ideas please

i know this is stating the obvious but have you gone back to the garage and told them the problem has re-occured? they might be able to pinpoint why it has happened again and fix it no charge as you have already paid and the problem is still there. good luck
