Hi everyone first off thanks for any advice in advance.

I recently took 2 radiators off to redecorate a room and I think I have done something very bad to my boiler .

When i had finished the work and reconnected the pipes I tried to run some hot water when I did there was no hot water so I went and checked the boiler and there was steam coming from the auto air vent at the top of the boiler.

I have a Worcester combi boiler model 24CDi RSF.

Yes you have broken it. Give me £50 and I'll take it away for you.

Or put some water in it and it'll be fine.

You need a T shaped key to get water into a Cdi. It's possible that it has been left in the boiler, in which case you'll see its grey plastic top under the boiler, right of centre. Turn it and you'll hear water going into the boiler. Stop at 1 bar. Air should come from the vent at the top and you might need to top up a bit more when the boiler starts.

They key is available as a "spare part" at several £, and nothing else will do the job.

8) thanks mate. Sorry for being a bit of a newbie. I was panicing a bit as this was the first time I have ever messed with a CH system and was expecting the worst.
