Hi, I'm currently building and IKEA wardrobe. It has three sections and five doors. Unfortunately I forgot to pick up the hinges while I was in IKEA. I bought a pack of 20 Hafele hinges (645PH, Screwfix) to try. These are a great price for 20 and good quality. Unfortunately, even with the adjustment screw fully turned, the would sit around 10mm away from the wardrobe frame. These are 64mm hinges, I can't find any concealed in Screwfix or Toolstation with a smaller measurement on this.
Also, the pre drilled holes inside the wardrobe appear to be the same size as the pre drilled holes on the wardrobe door. However, the holes on the hinge are smaller on the cup part than the saddle part.
Someone on the Screwfix for him said they have used hundreds of these hinges on PAX furniture, am I missing something here? Are the Komplement hinges of a size which is particular to IKEA stuff?
