Mate of mine has an Indesit idl40 dishwasher and midway through the cycle lights 2 and 4 flash (intermittant fault at first but doing it regular now), water is left in and it's heating up cos there's steam when you open the door. I tested thermostat and it was o.k. aswell as heater and wiring, so I put it on prog 3 and the water got upto over 60 celcius before draining out for the rinse (is this too high?). Could the thermostat be stuck closed? Heater readings are good so maybe control board?
