Hello. I've had some new oak veneer doors fitted and was wondering what the best products are to finish it with.

I want a matt finish and a slightly darker tone, or maybe something that will accentuate the natural look a bit more.
The joiner that fitted them suggested using a danish oil but others have told me it could cause the veneer to bubble up and lift away from the door.
