Is room taking too long to warm up?

This mornings readings:

Gas meter - 290.866
Ch meter - 654.9704

Hw meter - 150.1757

Zones set to be 21.5 from 6am to 10:30 and 18:00 to 22:00.

Weather looks to be similar to the other day.

So - whole house running constantly -

Gas meter - 280.384 - 271.241 = 9.143
Ch meter - 645.2662 - 634.9477 = 10.3185

Hw meter - 146.8456 -145.5553 = 1.2903

Whole house running in two lots of twice a day -

Gas meter - 299.599 - 290.866 = 8.733
Ch meter - 664.1681 - 654.9704 = 9.1977

Hw meter - 151.7697-150.1757 = 1.594

So 10% or so cheaper to have periods of off and on.

Next experiment.... to just have one zone eactive and see how much heat transfers between zones.

Contrary to certain posters opinions, this type of accurate control is possible and within the reach of average families.
