Anybody know who makes these?

I don't need the insides, just the shell.

I have a picture of No. 1 son which was used in the Blackpool Illuminations which I'd like to put in a lightbox, but don't have the skills to build it myself.

I'd like to wall-mount it in his room.

It requires more than just a few lamps to get an even spread of light over the picture.

Wide angle LEDs may work if there are enough of them. Narrow angle LEDs will make a pattern on bright spots if pointing to the image. It might be better with narrow angle LEDs to point them backwards to a matt reflecting surface with the LEDs supported by thin wires.

Or electroluminencent panels. They are not cheap but do provide even illumination and are extremely thin. They have a limited life that depends on the brightness

and there are many other sources. It is not advisable to buy them from dubious sources such as sellers on web sites outside the UK as the items may only have a very short life. These are OK for short lived advertising signs but not for a permanent feature.
