Hi,

The lining paper in my hall/stairway/landing is starting to come away (bow) at the joins in certain places, the rest of the paper/walls are generally fine.

Q: What would be my best course of action?
Strip it all off, even the unaffected areas and reline the whole wall or
could I cut/strip out the affected joins and just reline/fill in?

Thanks

It never looks the same once you try and stick joins back here and there. Sometimes, it's not even the paper that's coming away, it's the old paint/ emulsion on the wall underneath being pulled away by the paper,,,, but it shows up along the joints..... If it's affecting your hall/stairway/landing, then that must be majority of your walls.

Roughcaster.
