Local elections.

Tories are the party that can deliver Brexit but they know it will be a disaster, so have prevaricated over the last few years.

Labour policy of sitting on the fence hasnt helped, the stink from this Tory created mess has clung to them.

The Tories are in a difficult place, live in the past or let it go.

Check those votes Sirg you will see Labour blocked EVERY vote on progressing Brexit and Mays deal not for any other reason to force a GE i dont call that sitting on the fence?
I admit Tories are a bunch of ****s Labour worse. These local elections are nothing but a current snapshot of who the public currently hates the least, nothing more. So all you Lefties with a semi thinking you're on the way to Nirvana, ringfencing and taxing all those undeserving wealthy business men (not women of course that would be disgusting) and giving that money to the poor and old, it may not happen for a while..

They too probably are, until they wake up to what most of their supporters actually want, what an increasing % of the electorate as whole want, get off that *£$)%&$)) fence, commit to a 2nd referendum and wholeheartedly campaign for remaining in the EU.

Corbyns policy is constructive ambiguity, to avoid losing core voters. I suppose he hopes the Tories will implode before Labour remainer voters look for alternatives.

It is Labour that has the power to get a 2nd referendum voted through, but they are preferring the chance of getting in power by getting a terrible customs union deal instead of the current much better deal we have.

I agree with you, they should stop playing politics and wholeheartedly campaign for remaining in the EU.

I suspect the inner circle around Corbyn are idealogically anti EU, so that is inhibiting coming off the fence, along with the 4million or so Labour leavers they are scared of losing.

I think a brave Labour leader would go all out for a 2nd ref. A win for remain would mean Brexit gets cancelled and Labour could campaign in the following election on the coat tails of the inevitable boost to the economy and strength of the pound -the sudden loss of Brexit uncertainty would mean an economic boom and whoever is in power would get the credit.

yes it is.

Putting your favoured group first means that anyone who is not your favoured group get treated worse.

Let's see the justification for treating them worse.

This is the mentality i cannot associate with its not about treating them worse, ie dressing up in gowns and burning them ffs.

You seen Shaun of the Dead?

Take car. Go to mum's. Kill Phil. Grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.

who went to war and Obliterated half of the middle east to which we are still paying for dearly today? Tell me John was it the Tories

Many Labour voters would consider Tony Blair a Tory (y)

What has the Iraq war have anything to with it?

In terms of taxation, do you think Amazon, Google etc should be allowed to pay a fraction of the tax that they should pay?

Corporation tax is way beyond my brain cell comprehension I would only say it should be the same for all at the same time we need to invite businesses to reside in our domain to benefit. Can't answer that one.

I take it then, that you currently believe that a second referendum would be as close as the previous, and perhaps still be a Leave victory?

If leave won a 2nd referendum 50.1 against 49.9. Would you then want a 3rd referendum?

Unacceptable Bodd, to be convincing we need at least 10million more votes, you see most of them voters were duped into believing in the land of milk and honey, how the channel tunnel would be bricked up and that 350 million a week would make us all millionaires within a few years. Whereas remain voters all knew exactly what they were voting for which ensures their votes are actually far more credible you see.

To sort this Brexit caper out

May be a flip of the coin best of three

Or

Corbyn and May have a paper , scissor , stone match

best of three :)
