Hi...I've put up my big shed now and it has tongue and groove board as the roof. I'm a bit confused about the best way to do the roof - I believe as its a cabin I can go with the 'warm roof' approach. Am I correct in saying this would be (From inside out) :
Layer 1: Tongue and Groove cabin roof
Layer 2: DPM
Layer 3: 50MM Kingspan
Layer 4: 11MM OSB3 / PLY
Layer 5: Shingles
Do I just sandwich all these together?
Would I need to fix the insulation into the tongue and groove cabin roof?
Or would I just lay the insulation down, and then place the OSB/Ply over it and then drive nails in that were the correct size (So they won't protrude through the 18MM cabin tongue and groove)!
Also, would I need to place some timber around the edges of the roof to do this, or is it OK to have insulation upto the sides where the weather may get to them a bit?
Thank you in advance guys!
