Hi, I have a double glazed back door that has three hinges. The top hinge is loose. As first I thought the large visible screws where loose but I believe these to be adjustment screws. The screws that fix the hinge to the frame are hidden and I cannot see how you access these to tighten them.

I'd appreciate any ideas.

Photo attached to make thing clearer.

Thanks

John

Undo and take out the tiny grub screw and knock the hinge pin out located under the black plastic end caps, cannot advise which way to knock as don't know which way round hinge has been fitted. Then bend door out of the way to get to the screws, you'll find they are a self drilling machine screw like these...

It may be that all 3 have stripped allowing the hinge to come away, you may not be able to get them to bite the steel reinforcing again so you might have to swap for a self taper
