Hi,
We have a thermostatic shower mixer connected to cold mains and hot water from cylinder. Flow is pretty poor but it is warm enough. Would attaching a pressure reducing valve to mains feed to shower help?
Have replaced hot service with full bore, but no joy...
Tank in loft feeds only the cylinder and it would be almost impossible (due to eaves problems), to split pipe going to cylinder (even if that's allowed?)and then route the 5m or more to the shower unit.
What's more, after removing tiles and getting behind stud wall, both hot and cold pipes come from underneath, so presumably even if we could get gravity fed cold, it would have to come from underneath?
Would be very grateful more any suggestions!
