thanks guys, you have been very helpful, not sure where the sockets are getting a new flat soon and wanted to make it for there, was thinking about making it in two seperate parts the draws on their own and then fix them to the desk when its in place, I was thinking about adding supports along the underside of the desk to help with the strength, got some more planning to do, thank you for your suggestions
