Hi,

Recent extension has interlocking 'fake' tiles. The mortar that has been put in the gaps between the tiles and the plastic baton running down the brickwork (verge?) is failing and I need to re do it.

Am I correct in thinking I need a 3:1 sand and cement mortar mix with a non-shrink additive, and that I need to coat the underside of the tile and the baton with a bonding agent?

If so - which/what bonding agent?

Also what tool would I use?

Any help would be greatly received as I have no idea what I am doing!
