Mazda radio override code needed.

Yipee. The mazda UK forum has resolved my problem.
I had to use a different code for my Mazda MX5 and all is now well.

Thank you for responding to my initial enquiry.

Forums are wonderful.

Thanks again.

Can you share what the code was?

My lovely car only gave me one attempt to input the code and then went to ERR. Think it's sulking cos I'm going to have to sell it, can't afford the petrol with the miles I travel and have had to switch to a diesel (and less stylish) car :(

Much searching of the net revealed several code options to try, but 1414 (with the procedure at the top of this thread) worked in my MX5.

I know this is supposed to be an anti-theft measure, but I feel as much robbed by paying a dealer £20 for a 20 second procedure as I would if someone broke into my car and stole the radio

If you had said it was for an MX5, I could have told you it was a different code. Because, when I was trying to get the code for the Mazda 6, all the ones I came across were for MX5's.

Roberta, Can you tell me code for MX5 please. I have ERR on radio after flat battery?
