is there anything different about painting or priming MDF please.

I find that when painting MDF that I do exactly the same as with timber but usually use a lighter grade sandpaper.If you prime and allow time to give an extra undercoat to the surface you will obviously get a far better end result.But then I am old fashioned and always prefer a solid base before the final coat !
