Around here lots of old lead pipe.
Running a new mdpe pipe is sometimes usless if it connects to the old meter/stoptap as that short bit to the main cannot handle the demand.
This means the road has to be dug up to access the main for a new supply.This is more expensive and starts about £2000.
Check with your provider, if you can find a local co. who knows the area.
If i see a dig up i sometimes ask the householder who they use / how much if i can.
Do you know the fill capacity of your jacuzzi ?
