New Labour Leader - one hour away

Why not set up a poll and find out who those of us were eligible to vote, voted for?:sneaky:

Of course, I wouldn't spill the beans...

Corbyn in.

I'd be interested to know how many times he has said the word "Union" during his acceptance speech.

I'm glad he got in, on two counts:

Firstly, certainly in the short term, it has put paid to Labour getting in again as his only real support is the far left including union leaders.

Secondly, in the longer term, it will cause the Tories to moderate their policies, such as the state pension. Too much pandering to the Eton toffs and people will begin to revolt with the consequence that more middle-of-the-road voters looking to Corbyn to solve their problems.

I've never been a Labour supporter and would never vote for them, but if they did get in with him at their head I think I might benefit financially, especially with regard to my state pension for which I will qualify in a couple of years.

He certainly looks like he could be a World leader :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Those who formed the Labour party. So be it.

It is Labour members who disagree with that who should leave and form their own not quite conservative party.

Whatever happened to the Social Democratic Party?

Nowt wrong with socialism. It just means that the rich pay a little bit more and the poor a little bit less.

I think this is a disaster for everyone. Labour won't have a chance in the next election. The Tories will know that and will have a field day.

Presumably those who signed up as new members were activists? It reminds me of the Tories who changed the leader voting such that the local parties voted for a right wing candidate i.e. IDS.

It's a pity the others were so wet and useless. No policies, no ideas.

Labour will have a chance at last, and around the world anti-austerity parties are doing well. I could never vote for either of the other candidates, but I could vote for Corbyn. It won't be a disaster because the Tories will know that there is now an opposition to their policy of kicking the poor and rewarding the rich. Why would the working man vote for a party that by nature is their enemy? The more right wing the Tories go, the clearer the choice for the electorate. The Tories today aren't much short of a fascist party. The image of IDS on the brink of orgasm because he had a chance to kick the sick was sickening. I will never vote Tory while I've got a hole in my ar*e.

Good God.

The day has arrived!

joe could vote for the fella I voted for....:sneaky:
