Hi All,
About to renovate our bathroom and have a few queries as follows:

What is best waste to use on shower tray (P, S, anti siphon???)

Was thinking of connecting basin waste to shower waste so only one pipe going out wall to gully, is this OK, and any recommendations for this?

Is it OK to place stone resin tray direct onto floor boards, are trays only raised up to get access to trap if needed? Will there be any weight issues with tray on first floor joists?

Many thanks in advance for your replies!!!! :D

i'm sure a resin tray needs to be bedded onto something, if there are any unlevel bits the tray will prob crack, check the MI's, if a shower is connected into a soil drain it should have a 75mm trap (p trap) if going into a gully you could use a shallow trap, positioning height of tray is decided by the height of existing waste pipe as trap to pipe needs a slope to drain away properly

use a dedicated shower trap into a gully/hopper you can clean it from inside the shower does not need any other acess.

Thanks for those replies guys, anyone got any input on the basin to shower waste connection and traps etc, or should I just keep basin and shower waste separate??????
