new shower

can anyone tell me whether the items ive got up to now are ok for what i need

ive now got the following :

triton jade 2 - 8.5kw shower

10 mt of 10 mm cable ( incase of future upgrades )

45 amp pull switch

mk 6939s 50amp - 30ma rcbo ( which B & Q said would be ok as they dont stock 40amp or 45amp they said it goes up to 11.5 kw )

( the shower instructions say min 40 amp - 30 ma )

i think the cables will be going up a stud wall then on top of insulation then back down to cu

Better off with an MK 3164 WHI switch. They're rated at 50A.

Keep the cable away from the insulation.

What is the circuit length?

What type is the RCBO? B or C type?

Can you post a picture of your CU, tails & meter etc....?

circuit lenth approx 10 mt

rcbo has - MK 6939s B50 30MA ( 6000 ) ( 3 ) on the front of it

so will the 45 amp switch that ive got be no good even though shower only 8.5kw

as for pics wouldnt know where to start unless sister in law sorts it for me
