no hot water....

Hi
I have an Ideal Isar m30100 boiler and for some reason when I turn on any hot tap in the house the boiler fires up for about 10 - 20 seconds then goes out.
The red burner light sometimes flashes, but after a few seconds the boiler tries to fire up again and so the process starts over again.....
Central Heating works fine and fires up no problem when called for.

Can anyone please help ????

Could be the diverter valve stuck on ch so HW only heats for a few seconds.

Call out Ideal on a fixed price £220 repair.
