no sound coming from tv?? any help appreciated.

Hello folks..
The TV in my sons bedroom now has no sound coming from it..checked all settings and sound is turned on so its not a problem there..its not connected to a games console as he used it only for DVDs..
The picture is perfect..

The TV is a logic 19" .. Model e19/13b

Le19za13btcdg888 is the serial number...

Any ideas on what the issue could be?

1. Faulty earphone socket.
2. Some other internal fault.

Try connecting an aerial and see if there's audio on Freeview channels. Try connecting another input source and test.
