Old age ?

If you smoke, stop. Apart from making the skin thick and wrinkled, you will be unconsciously screwing up your eyes a lot when the irritant smoke drifts into them.
Smoking thins the skin not thickens it.

;) I smoke, I'm getting older (I'm much older than Markie) and don't even have 'laughing lines' yet.

"yet" hee hee!

I'm also not sure that the expensive products are all they're cracked up to be. I do, however, moisturise daily with bog-standard Nivea which if nothing else helps prevent dry skin especially at this time of year when we go between very cold air outside and artificially central-heated air inside. My other tip is that although sometimes there's only enough time to have a quick shower before work, it's better to give yourself half an hour or so to have a hot bath with the steam all around you - good for clearing out the skin.

Having said all that, a colleague at work the other day guessed my age at 30, so what do I know? (I'm 26!)

I'm not as wrinkled as I thought I would be.....tho I'm not 30. But, if I could sort of start over, but not from the beginning, mind ya, I would wear sunglasses more often.....so as not to squint so much, I probably wouldnt stop smoking...altho not anything positive you can say about it...and always use a moisturizer....but I wouldnt throw my money away on that spensive stuff....one that has some natural ingredients like lanolin and aloe and very little alcohol (drying)....but enjoy the vodka by all means

San Francisco style? Not sure that'll take the years off.........

Without wrinkles Clint Eastwood would look like Julie Andrews.

.....almost a hijack  , but ..............have Marlboro ciggies changed over the years ? . I remember them fondly in the 70`s when new over here and I was told they had Toasted tobacco  ........worked for B.A.T. for a while then ..........555 were revolting even tho` we got them cheap

I remember it used to be toasted tobacco, but I just had a read of my packet and there is no mention of toasted tobacco. It just says 'selected fine tobaccos'

I smoke marlboro lights, and they are not as strong as they used to be. (Its not just me getting hardened to them) The quantity of tar, nicotine and CO have all been reduced in the last few years.
