Any other Quality cylinders worth looking at? Looking for a good guarantee...not too fussed about built in expansion and ideally looking for one that has > 3bar working pressure...OSO used to do 5bar with their series 20 range but not any more...

Why is it so difficult to get proper details about coil input, thermal loss, flow rates at certain pressures etc

Most coils tend to be between 16 an 22 kW.

OSO's new SuperS cylinders are good, but i preferred the RI - as you say much more flexible.

You can still get them in Solar format ;).

Vokera also sell their own cylinders which are the RI's, which, like the Solar versions do not have the internal baffle.

Of course, if it is Vokera you are not allowed to use a variable pressure reducing valve.

Thermal losses tend to be under 2kW per 24 hours. A poster here has told us 2.5 degrees over 24 hours, and I see no reason to disbelieve him.

RM do very good value cylinders as well.
