I've fitted the odd light and switch in my house but never opened up a circuit to fit anything.
A security light is already installed at the back of the house and now i'm wanting to install a new one on the front, i was thinking about using the same wiring from back light but this looks real thick grey flat stuff.
On the instructions for the new light it says use 3 core round cable of 1mm squared gauge.
Is it just a case of chock blocking the exsisting wire, get some more cable and wire it up correctly.
Thanks for any help
