There's a 13mm headed bolt at the bottom behind the ac pump bracket.

I can get a spanner on but no turn.

I removed the x2 10mm bolts that hold the ac pump on to the pas pump bracket but there's no movement because of the ac pump's metal pipes.

How much could I risk forcing the ac pump away from the engine to get more access to the bolt ?

Apologies folks.

I missed bolt (lower front) so with that removed, I now have the pas pump removed.

Yes, but we all wish we didn't have to!

To be honest, getting the pas pump removed on a Rover 45 TD is not that hard.

I had to do it to fix a leak on the pump which I did by running a bead of silicone around the body joint.

If anyone has to do the same job, I advise replacing all o rings and dowty seals. I got the seals I needed from a local tractor repair center.
