hellp everyone im about to put some wallpaper up but i need to paste the wall not the paper would i need to size the wall still before i re paste the wall?
With this type of paper i still paste the paper anyway. Just as quick, no soaking time. If you paste the wall, its everywhere you dont want it.
Size the wall if its dry or new plaster, wont do any harm.
I have always sized the walls and then pasted the paper, left for 5 mins while I pasted the next length, etc etc.
However, I recently hung some paper for a friend and the paper said paste the wall..... Hmmm thought i should at least give it a go.... maybe they have changed over the years and it makes it easier, quicker..... NOOOOOOO !
That's the last time I follow instructions from Linda Barker!
As the other post rightly said... you end up with paste all over the place! On the front of the paper, on the roll, on you!
Stick to what you know best, I'm going to follw that rule in future
