I remember, before the first referendum, some dumb plumber claiming it would be a landslide "out" vote because (he claimed) he had only met Quitters and never met a Remainer.

Never believe a plumber.

John D removing all factors to make a point.

On the same basis he can no longer call rabid quitters xenophobes because there are no factors that may bias a decision.

A working class person, surrounded by people of the same social economic position, might vote one way while a middle class person surrounded by people of the same social economic position might vote another...

Never believe JohnD.

"Knowing what you know now.
1. Do you still wish to leave the EU.
2. Do you still wish to remain in the EU"

They are both the same question.are you off your meds again

Exactil how thick are you?

Oops, no need to ask - you dumbly voted to leave in the first place!

But hey you enjoy your brief cruise on the Brexitanic...

Sadly though we all have no choice but to set sail on a trip with no destination and crewed by a bunch of raving lunatics!

You have a point...

Of course it can be shown that the senile and less well educated tended to vote leave, and the younger and better educated people tended to vote remain (y)

May just said:

"We will never betray the result of the referendum, and we will never break up the United Kingdom."

Sounds like we are remaining then. She'll say that by making an effort to get a "good deal for Britain" the result was no option but to remain. And this will also mean not breaking up the UK.
If we leave, Scotland will leave GB and rejoin the EU.

So that's final, we're staying in the EU!

Already proven meaningless.

What you mean is more people do degrees now than they used to. That's it, end of :ROFLMAO:

But hey if you want to believe that a Meejia studies degree is worth more than a qualification in a professional qualification in say accountancy......

Certainly some truth in the suggestion that better educated, more qualified and higher earning people voted remain.

Already proven meaningless.

no, already proven true.

I'm sure you've seen that well-educated older people show the same pattern as well-educated younger people.

Perhaps you were confused by the fact that younger people tend to be pro-EU membership, and older people, especially those of retirement age but under 90, are the source of the core anti-EU sentiment.

higher earning people voted remain.
Benefits are too high, need to keep them. A lot of youngsters didn't vote as they couldn't be arsed, someone will sort them out, no need for them to lift a finger. As for youngsters being more educated, what a fecking joke. A degree in media studies or sports psychiatry is not real life education, a lot don't know where milk comes from.

Serious question - what are we going to all moan about after we leave the EU?
#gettingborednow

Immigration.

But this time people won't be able to blame it on the EU.

Maybe some serious discussions abou it can take place then. Just a shame most people will be worse off by that point!

Where do you get your milk from? A cow? Do you?

Or do you get it from a supermarket, like the youngsters?

I see James Duddridge handed in a letter of no confidence just before a speech?

His reasons...
the Tory party needs “a strong leader, someone who believes in Brexit and someone to deliver what the electorate voted for.

His constituents deserve an MP who knows what he is saying !

Can anybody explain exactly what the electorate voted for ?

How can he have no confidence in her delivery of brexit if nobody knows what they wanted?

Cue the, I know exactly what I voted for responses, without a single definition.

To remind you, it was in or out. NOTHING at all about any details. But we were told it was all simple and straightforward.

Was it? Explain it then?

Let's for a moment pretend you have a point and you're not just insulting anyone with a different opinion to yourself.

By John's logic it can't be xenophobia because factors are irrelevant.

So why do you think these people voted to leave?

As I've said before, you're shamefully vulgar and ever more predictable.
