Pilot keep going off once every month(kingfisher2)

I would like to suggest that I have noticed that the pilot light will go off every Thursday night.

What do you do on Thursday nights then? Use a large range cooker or something?

It used to go every Thursday, then the thermocouple was changed etc...it was ok for a couple of month and then started to go off every week. I believed some evil forces are at work on Thursday in my house...

But I talked to Tony and i think i'm having a new one in the summer...meanwhile if you ahve any suggestions please do post them...

It was going out every week, Tony applied some TLC and it was ok for a couple of months, then it started going off every month, and now between the 6th of January and the 12th of January it has started to go off every Thursday. Then on the 13th of January the tale is recounted with the monthly part missing. Even Jackanory had a bit of continuity to their stories.
