Hi,

I have a kingfisher2 and about two months ago it the pilot light go off by itself every 5 to 6 days. A corgi register changed the thermocouple, clean it and regulate the gas supply and all was fine. However, yesterday the same problems happened. I have got two suggestions firstly change the gas valve or secondly it might be over heating.

There was however a seal missing which hold the thermocouple(i mean where the pilot are lit) Could this be the problem?

Let say it is overheating..how can this be sorted. The engineer has reduced the power last time to avoid the boiler from making noise thou he said it is not too loud...

please kindly post some suggestions before i take any decisions...thank you
