Hi,
I've recently had a wall plastered and the plasterer removed my PIR light. I now need to rewire it but I can't do this correctly as it looks complicated. I have a 3 core cable with N/L/E which will go into a 4 chock block (block has E N L and X marked on one side). The PIR however has the following cables:
Black with L marked on it
Blue marked with N
Brown marked with L
Earth
and another cable with a black sleeve which splits into a brown and blue and is unmarked.
This gives me 6 wires out of the PIR and 3 from the feed therefore I'm assuming that 2 cables need to be joined to complete the connection. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
