'Plastic' skirting board

Or as they call it "High-density Polymer".
Saw this stuff at Screwfix and liked the idea of it being A) Having a recess to run AV cables in, B) Probably more flexible than wood to deal with my less than perfect walls, and C) Cheap and convenient.

Has anyone here got any experience with this kind of stuff?
