Why did you change them and not the PCB

its a bit of a comman PCB failure symptom is the old fan cycling

Cheap!

HRPC prices are higher.

£138 all but a penny. Where can I get a board for 80 notes retail?

Fitted new board and all was fine for a month. Now the boiler will not fire up .When i power up The voltage across the fan terminals on the board is only there for about half a second then there is nothing . Do you think i nead another new board?

Thanks for any comments.

Have you changed the pressure switch because its faulty?

Have you checked tubes before you changed it?

David

What do you expect if you only paid £80 instead of £138 less a penny.

I do have to wonder if there is an underlying fault that has not been detected?

Did you measure the gas valve operating coil resistance?

Very good point Tony!

Not a common fault (for me) but one an engineer would look for.

David.
