Hi all

Have just moved into a new house
Had the plumber in to service the boiler and found no problems
Then the circuit board for the controller blew so the electrician replaced it and the boiler was working fine

Then this weekend we put the heating onto constant and switched back Sunday night to auto for the normal program

Rads were hot as normal then they went off, looked at boiler and the pilot light was out
Left it till the morning and held down the reset button and the boiler worked fine again

Now this morning the same thing has happened

Is there some cut out when the boiler gets too hot ??
What can people suggest ?

do a search on suprimas

You probably need to change the printed circuit board

You'll not see a pilot light on a suprima cause there isn't one as such.
It may flash up in two stages, but it has electronic ignition so when everything is satisfied boiler closes down until there is a call for heat.
You may be pressing the reset button when there is no need to. Has the boiler gone into lockout mode. Is the red light constant or flashing.
Have you got any fault finding instructions, I believe you can get them from potterton.
I'm not sure exactly what your concern is. Was it just it just the lack of a pilot light or is the boiler going into lockout mode on a regular basis (flashing red light ) A constant red is standby waiting for controller to switch on or if already on waiting for a call for heat.

if the circuit board has been replaced & the pump is ok.replace temperture sensor inside boiler making sure you cover sensor with heatsink
