Hi, i have the same boiler with the exact same problem. Is the issue the programmer? the part no. listed on the previous page doesnt tally up with what i have dound in this online manual.

When you say timer do you mean programmer?

Any help appreciated.

Yes power cut can damage timer.
I have had this before when isolating power to service Range Powermax boilers but have also had instances where customers have had a power cut overnight.

It's evident when the CH and HW lights are less bright than they usually are.
If your handy with electrics it is possible to wire the timer out on the wiring center to prove the rest of the boiler functions as it should do

They are both duller than usual yes. How can you wire it out to test?

avoid plumbcentre, they class it as a commercial boiler. their prices reflect that

These programmers are repairable. I repair them.
Checkout ebay.

In that case they must call ALL boilers as commercial in view of their prices.

A timer is usually used to describe a single channel device.

A programmer is usually used to describe a two channel device as used for CH and HW.
