I am fitting a woodburning stove and stove pipe to an existing twin wall flue that comes down through the ceiling. The twin wall coming down through the ceiling is supported by the rafters in the loft(bungalow). It says in the regs that the Stove should not support the weight of the flue, i assume it means the single skin flue? If the stove should not support the weight of the flue, how do i support the weight of the single skin flue, approx 1.5m, that is between the top of the stove and the twin wall that comes down from the ceiling. I have only seen the brackets that fit to the wall and clamp around the single skin flue, but these dont look like they would support the weight, rather just there to keep the flue held in its vertical position.
