Radio /cd player stopped working

Recently I have had trouble with the relays and fuses in my car. The engine wouldnt start and I have cleaned and put back all fuses and relays. The car starts fine but now my stereo won't work. The fuse for the radio isn't blown and the stereo is turned on. Any ideas ?

Ps all the fuses are in their right holders.

I'm going to assume when you cleaned all the fuses, you checked if they were blown or not.........

Can you get to the wiring at the back of the stereo?

If not, then you're kinda unable to properly test the electrics, but once I had a stereo whose display was switchable green/orange illumination. Eventually the green went but the orange still worked. Whenever I lost power to the stereo and reconnected it, its default illumination colour was green, I had to remember the buttons to press to get it orange again.

If you can, then check that both red and yellow wires are +12V and that if there's a fuse behind there, its not blown.

Might help anyone able to help if you posted up make/model of radio and also vehicle fitted to.

Hard to give constructive advise not knowing what we are talking about!!
