Rcd trip time

Can anyone tell me if at 1x I delta n device trips in 31 ms @0 degrees and in 28.5 @ 180 degrees is significant. Seemed a bit quick to me!! RCD 30 m/a

Thats fine, as long as it is less than 300ms for a 61008/9 device its fine.

Not a prob, I've had RCD's trip in 14ms @ 1x and 4 ms @ 5x.. If you think that it is a bit quick then you should really do a ramp test to make sure that it is tripping close to it's rated trip current.

Thanks for the quick response. I did do a ramp test and it tripped in 26ms
