Recesses ceiling lights in kitchen

The manager wants small ceiling lights in the kitchen having just had new carpet in the bedroom above is there another way without lifting floorboards etc.,

you can do it just so long as you can put the lights in the same way that the joists run, that way you can feed the cable from one light to the next.

this also asumes that the lights will bw in the same "row" as where the existing light is (you need to connect to the origonal supply)

Hi Breezer

Just finished this job which took a long time because of full depth noggins!!! I wish I'd got x ray specs as metal/stud detector did'nt pick up these horrible crossbeams

Never mind - just think how much it would have cost to pay someone to do it, given all the hassle...
