Just had supply capped off to old fire.
Would like to remove the thing and chuck in a skip.
How are they normally attatched?
Do I have to remove the vent and fire brick thingys at the front to get at some screws?
Any advice appreciated thanks

ok, thought it might be a generic type thing.

It is a radiation gas fire (old man) looks like type 7B (?)

If old radiation with metal front and wood case... Should be 2 screws eitherside in the louvres take metal bit off then 4 screws to take wood case off then you will see where it is screwed to wall. Newer versions had 4 screws holding front on and it came off in a oner

Pulled the metal part down to reveal two fixing screws at the back.
