Hi

I'm looking to replace my faulty Potterton EP6002 programmer. I've also found out that they are no longer available, I looked at some replacements Siemens RWB2007 & the Honeywell ST9400C, but the wiring on the EP6002 look to have extra wires. What do I do with these. See attached A & C

I also understand the bridge between L & 5 can be removed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If anyone can suggest a replacement programmer and advise the wire mapping layout from the the EP6002 to the replacement that would also be great.

What other external controls and system layout do you have ??

Terminals A to D a spare and are not used for the timer itself. You just need to make sure the wires in them stay connected with standard electrical choc-blocks behind your new timer back plate.

L, N and earth are obvious.

1 is HW off (not sure why yours has two wires in it)

3 is HW on

4 is CH on

5 is the link to give a live to one of the relays, you won't need this with a new timer.
