Rigid sheet material to use around underground pipes

Hi
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could use as 'rigid sheet material' to put underground to cover the openings at both sides where my underground drainage pipe runs under a lintel? Building regs just states 'rigid sheet material' rather than anything more specific in terms of a product?
Thanks for any advice

"rigid" and "sheet" tend to be mutually exclusive terms but how about a corrugated arch made from some corrugated steel sheeting
