I am trying to keep my late Mum's house frost free during the winter. I do not need hot water. Can I install a simple room-stat in the swithed live? (Obviously setting the divertor valve accordingly).

Whatever you do just remember there is a pump over run on these boilers some controlled by a circuit board some from seperate built in timer in the clock. If you dont wire properly you will get pilot problems
