Short term fix for bad leak in felt roof

We had a gale while the felt on the garage roof was hard with frost and it's now cracked badly in a couple of places. Leaking A LOT with the current rainy season (the worst leak half fills a 40 gallon bucket overnight!). The roof needs redone but this will have to wait until Spring or so. Meanwhile all of my tools and materials are getting damaged. It's not practical to put a tarp over it all due to neighbouring buildings. What's my best short-term fix for the leaks?

"Acropol" or similar will do it. It brushes on

Got some today (Acrypol+) - great stuff - easy to put on and sticks like s**t. Just need some rain now to see how successful it's been - shouyldn't have to wait long
