Shower failure

Hi. Our shower just failed, and though it's new and under guarantee, they can't get anyone out until the new year. It's a Mira Essentials.

We had a shower, turned it off, and the water keeps on flowing. Even when the power is switched off, so the pump is off, the water still keeps coming. We've had to isolate the water supply to the shower to stop it.

Any ideas what could have caused this? We only fitted it two weeks ago - our last one lasted six years!

Hi, thanks for the reply.

Is this something common? I'm disturbed that it happened so quickly after installation.

Also, is there anything I could do, or does it require new parts or an engineer?
