On my showerhead each of the nozzles has lots of limescale on them causing some to have blocked. Can I soak the head in anything to remove all the limescale (vinegar?). The showerhead is chromed so I need something that wont damage it.

Any ideas or is a manual clean job?

Plumbers merchants and probably the sheds stock shower-cleaners which are specifically gentle. Supermarkets are full of bathroom descalers too of course but some have vague warnings.
Have used cling film, and a saucer, to immerse the holes, but that may not be approved..

Take it off an immerse it in clear vinegar overnight this should clean it up a treat

Are you sure this wont damage the chrome?

Thanks for the advice
