Shower pressure

hello can anyone help,

i had a Mira shower and pump fitted about a year ago. Recently it has started to pulse, with the pump making a knocking sound (turning its self on and off?)

From reading other posts I tried the shower head at bath level where it is fine. However I goes back to pulsing when ever it is head height.

Any suggestions?
